Our Request
Dear Friends and Family,
For those of you who know me and those of you who don’t, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Zach , I am 20 years old and a lone soldier. I come from a Frum family in Coral Springs, Florida, and despite having no obligation to serve in the Israeli army, I feel I have a mission to protect our land.
My unit is a Combat Engineering Unit, some of the guys in my unit are the ones destroying the tunnels in Gaza at the present moment. Some of the other things we do are clear the way for tanks and foot soldiers, we specialize in explosive mines, bombs and war engineering, making it safer for those who follow us. So far we have lost 6 soliders in my unit during this operation, in fact I am writing this to you as I'm on the bus to a funeral.
Unfortunately, the IDF does not have the necessary funds to provide every soldier with top of the line gear, so my unit is raising money on our own to improve our equipment, so that we can have gear that will better protect us, and help keep us safe. Everything we use has to be IDF approved so it must be purchased through the army and our goal is to raise $7,000 to provide each of the 30 soldiers in our unit with:
· Hydrating backpacks
· Updated gun accessories
· Stronger knee pads
· Thermal coats
· Thermal undergarments
· New/Stronger helmets
-Protective Combat Sunglasses
Every donation, big or small helps us achieve our goal and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for showing your support.
This is a direct Paypal account to my family who will then send the money directly to my unit! (please click "Friends & Family")
